Summer raspberries
Already at the beginning of June we harvest the first raspberries, so there is next to the strawberries another delicious berry for snacking or baking. Already in mid-June it goes around with raspberries and the time to make jam has come. From mid-July, our raspberries make a break, so that it is called again from the end of August, ran to the small berries with the giant taste.

Autumn raspberries
Autumn raspberry harvest usually begins already in mid-August and then lasts until the end of October. Of course, it is also the case that many raspberries ripen in good weather and then also taste particularly sweet.

Raspberry cultivation is one of the most time-consuming types of fruit that we have in our cultivation. Here we have to cut out the shoots again every year in painstaking manual work or tie them up again individually. In addition, the raspberry plant is very demanding when it comes to soil! It does not like a lot of rain and waterlogging, but rather loose and only moderately moist soils. In years with a lot of rainfall, the raspberry plants suffer particularly and are then also susceptible to disease.

But all this we gladly accept, because the pleasure of raspberries compensates for all the work.
