Cherries

TAFELKIRSCHEN
Since the demand for cherries has risen sharply in recent years, we have also planted somewhat more cherries again. However, cherry breeding has also contributed to this, and a lot has happened in this area in recent years. There are already many varieties that ripen very early. The ideal variety that is early, has crisp flesh, a sweet taste, is burst-resistant in the rain and has a good yield does not yet exist. In the selection of varieties, we have therefore made sure that we always have something to harvest and the taste is very good, because the taste is always in the foreground, we have preferred to choose lower-yielding varieties.
The names already whet the appetite for cherries:
Rita, Sweet Early, Earlilse, Burlat, Bellise, Merchant, Gracestar, Giorgia, Samba, Satin, Kordia, Oktavia and good old Schneiders Knotted Cherry.

BRENNKIRSCHEN
For our genuine Black Forest Kirsch, we naturally have special plants with our typical Benjaminler, Dollenseppler and Schwarze Schüttler cherries. These varieties are all small, black and quite sweet.
We process these cherries in our distillery to a noble drop, a piece of the Black Forest!

Our distilled cherries, unlike the table cherries, are quite small and soft, but also sugary sweet.
